I fit my phone (S8 Active w/case and pop socket), box cutter, two pens, and a permanent marker in the front big zipper pocket. The small zipper pockey upfront holds a mini bag of tylenol, the velcro pocket holds my locker key, and occasionally I'll put money or my debt card in the back zipper pocket that is touching my body.
