I've got pretty bad scoliosis which doesn't help with my posture, either so I'm constantly sore/stiff or in pain. I also only wear it for short periods of time throughout the day to help get used to it. I've only tried this product for a short time but it does seem to be helping. It helps keep my shoulders back which does do something for your posture in helping keep you upright. So far, so good. Other people said that the straps under their arms irritated them but I didn't really notice it much. I wear this on the outside of my shirts so a barrier like that helps.
