Make sure you loosen up the laces all the way closest to the toes when putting them on or taking them off. Have been struggling with ankle pain for over 15 days and tried a few straps and braces with little success. Finally got this one and it works really well. Pretty snug fit and it takes some practice to get on and off. I am using a larger size than recommended (foot size 8, brace medium) and it works well. Highly recommend it.
NOTE: Would NOT recommend these for women with larger chests, as I don't think it would offer enough support. They're comfortable, move well with the body, and the fabric is nice and soft. The padding is removable and provides perfect coverage. Damn these were a good purchase. I wear a 36C and am fine, but if you tend to need extra support these definitely aren't for you. I wasn't sure what to expect because they're so cheap, but these fit great.
The foot dr gave me some Aircast A60 braces (and billed my insurance almost 4x what you can get them new on here for! ), but they didn't seem to do much. I have tried these and they seem much better. The sleeve itself seems to be about the same as any other sleeve. But what puts this a notch above others is the wrap band. This allows you to make it tight (or a little loose) and provides some support for the ankle as well as for the plantar. This is very easy to use - literally just slip on the sleeve and easily wrap the band. I've only washed it once, so I can't say about long term, but it held up. My Aircast A60's aren't very easy to wash, and any product that you are going to wear on your feet all day long needs to be washable! All said, it's a great value for the price. I struggle with plantar fasciitis and now tendonitis.
