Compared to my old school Daylite it’s better all around by leaps and bounds. Same height but definitely more space and better pockets in every other direction. Still looks a tad awkward when wearing but carries WAY better than the old daylight. I researched packs for a month before choosing osprey. The old Daylight is small, fills up with very little and rides/looks like and undersized turtle shell. Bought this daylite Plus for casual bike rides and beach trips. I feel it will do remarkable for my needs. OSPREY ALL THE WAY! ! ! ! !. I also noticed the back panel/cushion could easily be removed and put back if needed.
