Not too tight and I don't have an issue with the long strap rubbing against my neck. I ordered the Large size and I am very happy with it. There are only 2 cons but its not a deal breaker. 1- the little loops that hold the adjustable straps do not stay in place so if you let your long strap down, the little loops will move around. 2- you can not take the small straps off, so if your like me and wear the purse across your body, they will be there. Also a side note, I am a 44DD and when I where this purse across my body, it is a nice fit.
