The extra thick padding on the shoulder straps meant that the backpack didn't cut into those places where the strap made contact. Three compartments made easy work of stowing the 8 bags of groceries. (I carried the eggs and bread in my hand because of their delicate nature. I'm really pleased with this backpack. I've not tested the charging cable. And haven't used it for traveling (though it would do an amazing job, I'm sure). SO I haven't rated those aspects of the bag. I usually wear a medium in workout leggings, but purchased a large after reading other reviews. Definitely happy with the large and will not be returning, but will also definitely be ordering a medium for more compression. They looked super small fresh out of the package, but fit amazingly well and are so comfortable! I am about 5’6 and somewhere around 180lbs- small waist but hips/ thighs/ booty for days.
