I am on my third pair and would recommend these. I swim quite often so i needed a suit that would last, feel good, look good and not slow me in the water. These fit the bill perfectly for me. They are of course, more snug than typical board shorts, but for those that are avid swimmers, these seem just right. You will be very happy with them. They hold your junk in place, but don't feel compressed or too tight or uncomfortable. Actually, you don't even feel the suit at all while swimming, which is kinda cool. You do need to rinse them carefully after each time in the pool. Fading/wear does occur after several months, but they hold up better than most. You will need to trim the ridiculously long tie strings and then use a small flame to melt the ends to stop unravelling.
