I use this to help me be more active even with residual shoulder pain following a torn AC ligament. I rock climb and run obstacle course races, but was having pain doing both. I tried 3 different braces and this worked the best of the 3 for me. I decided to try this with my last OCR and it worked well. I barely felt my shoulder at all; only on the roughest of obstacles did I even notice it, and the pain was less than it would have been. It was comfortable; didn't chafe at all but I was wearing compression sleeves underneath and a lot of protective gear on my torso, so not sure if this would be true if those factors were not the case. I could move my arm as I needed to complete obstacles (so it doesn't really restrict movement).

I know I had to unload a few things on my way to Thailand given they only let you carry on 7 kg (15 pounds or so) and they weigh. I think I had 20 or more kg on my way to Singapore. it was more about what I could take lol. .
