Havent had any issues with any straps so far and seems to be good quality. I can only find 3 downsides being: 1) A little heavy, 2) Not the most comfortable, and 3) The hydration bladder hole is a little small and the hydration bladder pocket is to big and not in a great location. However for the price, these are all things I can over look for short 2 to 3 day backpacking.
