Its been very cold where I live and weve already had a snowstorm this year so i got to try out my coat. The strap wouldnt stay attached to the velcro and i kept scratching my hand with the itchy velcro so i cut it off. There is alot of pocket space and they all zip to close. The inside layer of the sleeves has a part you can slip over your thumb which i like to keep the sleeves from riding up. I love this coat. It kept me very warm and dry for shoveling and while my daughter sledded for what felt like hours. My sweat shirt underneath wasnt even the least bit damp but from playing out in the snow. The only thing that i dont like is the velcro strap that is to be used to tighten the wrist part. It is not super bulky but it is very warm. Other wise I love this coat. I would definately recommend. The hood is actually big enough to go over my head, even with a pnoytail or bun in my hair, that is sometimes a struggle with womens coats and sweatshirts.
