My pack was not full so I was able to compress it to fit in on one airline, but on another (Norwegian Air) I was told it was too large and they stored it with the other baggage. Love the color, quality, and roominess of the pack. I wish it was just a little smaller as it is a tight squeeze on European airlines.
Will be using it more in the near future so, if I need to update this post I will but, I'm sure I won't have to. Very well made. Shoulder straps are attached directly to the pack body. I haven't used it a lot yet but, so far is comfortable to use.
