Only recommendation is to not leave water siting in the pack for too long. I really enjoy wearing the hydration pack here in Arizona. The actual weight of the entire pack really isn't much. For example, a water bottle and a bottle cage are about the same weight as the pack. Plus, you can carry extra goods such as spare tools or a pump. That said, I'm not out running with the pack but I do wear it about 2-times per week for about 4 - 5 hours. It's been great. You'll get a distinct rubber taste if left untouched for a week to two weeks. No complaints. Even the water tube looks good to this day; about a full-year later.

It also, folds up and zips up really nice and compact so you can put it in a purse or suitcase if you're not using it. Makes it easier to travel!. This is a large duffle bag I will be using to travel with I have it fully packed for a 4 day stay.

Perfect for Female Travelers

This backpack was perfect for my 3 week trip to the UK and Ireland. The size allowed me to have it as a carryon on most of my flights, even on one flight I upgraded so I wouldn't have to check baggage. If you get this, I highly recommend packing cubes as well since it makes packing so much easier. The hip strap allows you to carry the bag comfortably for longer periods of time. Plenty of pockets and places to store everything you need.
